The controller works for a bit but then if you exit out or the app crashes it changes from joy3 to joy4 (requiring a remap), or just won't recognize the controller altogether.
Soooo close to this working on a TV and providing a "console experience" but this bug is killin me :(
For folks trying to use Bluetooth controllers here are some tips:
1. Don't use a Bluetooth keyboard to press F10 to turn off the screen overlay. Instead connect a UTG cable to a USB keyboard. Then press F10, and the overlay will go away without interfering with your BT controller port.
2. Force Close the app everytime you restart it or the controller won't respond. You can force close it in your android settings under the app menu. Similarly you can attempt to use the Android developer settings options to limit your number of background options.
Tested on Samsung S9, Android TV, Amazon Firestick. Using 8bitdo snes30 and Asus controllers
hi, i want to report a problem in your game (mari0 ae from the android version), the gelcannon system, it's not changing the gel type anymore, it's just this problem, but i have a suggestion: a buttons to change the type of gelcannon, and fix the level editor system, like a tutorial. It's just my opinion

Hey I see Its been a while since you were last active but It would be great if you could add something. New Android phones only support apps built for 64 bit architecture (ARMv8) and this app uses the 32 bit architecture. I used to play this game so much on my old phone but ever since I got a Pixel 7 I have not been able to play it. I have been trying to get it to work for months now, I even tried recompiling the apk myself but nothing works. It would be really awesome if you could update the game for 64 bit architecture phones. I'd be really grateful 🙏

ReplyDeleteWorks fine for me. Watch the tutorial, "can't open file" is what chrome says so you're probably not following the instructions.
